Cops receive 12 police reports against Abdul Hadi, to record statement soon, says CID chief

PETALING JAYA: Police have already received 12 police reports against PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang’s claim in a speech that he was offered cooperation by the United States (US) to topple the Barisan Nasional government in 2014.
The Marang Member of Parliament is expected to have his statement recorded soon to complete police investigations into the allegations that he made during his winding-up speech at the 72nd PAS muktamar on Saturday (Sept 5).
Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Comm Datuk M. Kumar said police had also recorded statements from 12 witnesses so far besides receiving the 12 police reports in connection with the matter.
