PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating an alleged provocation at the National Day celebration at Dataran Putrajaya after four reports were received.
Putrajaya police chief Aidi Sham Mohamed said the reports were received on Aug 31 and Sept 1.
He said a video uploaded on Facebook by an account owner named "Anwar Captain Goose" showed a man in an orange or brown shirt allegedly provoking and pushing members of the public who were waiting for the gates to the seating area to open.
"This resulted in pushing and shoving, with several people falling," he said in a statement.
Aidi said the incident was believed to have occurred at about 5am on Aug 31.
