PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested the 20-year-old driver of a Mercedes-Benz who forced his way through a roadblock on the Sprint Highway on July 7.
Kuala Lumpur traffic chief Zamzuri Isa said a video clip had been posted online showing the white Mercedes-Benz pushing through the roadblock while travelling from Sri Hartamas towards the Kerinchi Link at 12.15am.
Traffic police were inspecting a Toyota Alphard at the time. “The Mercedes driver braked momentarily, but continued moving after misinterpreting the hand signals of a traffic officer who had wanted him to stop at the road shoulder for inspection,” Zamzuri said.
