NEW DELHI: A day after the opposition decided to hit the streets together, Congress on Thursday asked its state and district units to take a lead role in coordinating with INDIA bloc allies for the joint agitation from Oct 2-8 to press for CEC Gyanesh Kumar's resignation.The district events will see large mobilisation at the local level - marches to Ambedkar or Gandhi statue or to Election Commission office in a district. There, the gathering will sing the national anthem and hold a public reading of Article 326 on universal adult suffrage.
