Cookery competition held in Vellore

The Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, Christian Medical College (CMC) organised a cookery competition at Darling Residency to commemorate World Diabetes Day. A press release said that the theme was ‘Flavours of Our Heritage – Prepare a diabetes-friendly lunch from Tamil Nadu or Andhra Cuisine’.

Chief guest Sudha Jasmine, head, Medicine-3 Unit, associate director & HR, CMC Vellore & Ranipet Campus, emphasised the importance of making healthy food choices a part of everyday life, a release said. Prizes and certificates were given to winners in non-health care and health care professionals categories.
