Controversial plans for a Daniel Andrews sculpture officially scrapped by Victorian government
The Victorian government has cancelled plans for a $134,000 statue of former premier Daniel Andrews following public and political criticism. Premier Ben Carroll has ended the policy of automatically commissioning statues for long-serving premiers and will instead appoint an independent panel to review future commemorations.
