Something to look forward to: Control Resonant, the long-awaited sequel to 2019's excellent Control, launches on September 24. That means Remedy Entertainment has announced the final PC system requirements. The good news is it's another game that can run on aging hardware – providing you don't mind playing at 1080p@30fps. The bad news, other than all the settings using upscaling, is that you need a massive 120GB of SSD space.

Remedy has split the PC requirements into two sections: with and without ray tracing/path tracing.

Remedy, to give it credit, has bucked the trend of companies being less than forthcoming about whether their PC requirements only apply when upscaling is used – they do.
