Continental’s group sector ContiTech announces participation in Gastech 2026, the world’s largest exhibition and conference for natural gas, LNG, hydrogen and climate technologies, taking place from 14 to 17 September in Bangkok, Thailand.

As floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs) continue to accelerate natural gas import projects across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring a safe and reliable gas transfer connection between floating and shore-based infrastructure remains a critical challenge for terminal developers and operators. These systems must accommodate vessel motion, dynamic loads and thermal expansion while maintaining continuous high-pressure gas flow in demanding marine conditions.

ContiTech’s API 17K certified flexible hose technology is designed for offshore service, offering fatigue resistance, pressure integrity and motion accommodation. By absorbing operational movements between the FSRU and jetty, the hoses reduce mechanical stress, simplify installation and enhance system reliability, combining advanced rubber compounds with high-performance reinforcement technologies.
