Continuous glucose monitoring may lower mortality risk in diabetic patients on insulin

Research presented at the EASD meeting indicates that type 2 diabetes patients using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) while on basal insulin have a significantly lower risk of mortality. The study suggests that CGM technology helps patients better manage glucose levels and reduce long-term complications.
