Connemara ponies summer holiday at Áras an Uachtaráin

Two Connemara ponies from Kylemore Abbey have arrived at the Irish presidential residence, Áras an Uachtaráin, for a summer stay. The ponies will serve as ambassadors for Irish cultural heritage while grazing on the front lawn.

Kylemore Abbey's Connemara ponies, Ruby and her foal Pippa, have arrived at Áras an Uachtaráin, where they will spend the summer grazing on the front lawn of President Catherine Connolly's official residence in the Phoenix Park.
The pair, affectionately known as Kylemore Abbey's "Peaceful Ponies", will welcome visitors and international dignitaries throughout the summer.
