Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and chief of the Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee V. Vaithilingam on Friday met Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan at Lok Niwas seeking his intervention in tracing the three tourists from Puducherry who were caught in the flash floods in Nepal.

The relatives of the three tourists also accompanied Mr. Vaithilingam. The Lt. Governor has informed the MP that he and the officials were in constant touch with the Central government to ensure safety of the tourists.
