Congress in-charge interacts with party functionaries in Puducherry
Ghulam Ahmad Mir, the newly appointed Congress in-charge for Puducherry, visited the Union Territory to meet with party functionaries. During his visit, some local members submitted a memorandum demanding the removal of the current unit chief, V. Vaithilingam.

Congress legislator from Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Ahmad Mir, who was recently appointed as party’s in-charge for the Union Territory, was in Puducherry on Saturday to interact with functionaries of the Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee.
This was his first visit to Puducherry after being appointed as the All India Congress Committee’s in-charge for the Union Territory. He met key functionaries of the PPCC, including former Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy, Member of Parliament and PPCC chief V. Vaithilingam, former Ministers and legislators at the party office.
