Congress goes to town challenging KCR to attend Assembly for debate on govt. policies
Congress leaders in Telangana have challenged former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao to attend the Assembly to debate government policies rather than criticizing them on social media. The party held a protest demanding his active participation as an opposition leader.

Senior Congress leaders challenged former Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao to attend the Assembly and play the role of a responsible Opposition leader, “rather than spreading fake news on social media platforms.”
The party organised a dharna at Indira Park on Sunday, seeking his resignation for failing to attend the Assembly. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud said that as per people’s wish, KCR should play a responsible Opposition leader role and the government was ready to take his suggestions and correct the wrong decisions, if any.
Mr. Goud said that the Congress government had attracted ₹1.78 lakh crore in foreign investments in two years and more jobs would be created during the remaining two-and-a-half years of the government’s term. He also highlighted the caste survey saying it was being held up as a model for the country.
