Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Tuesday expressed concern over a significant decline in voter numbers in the Hyderabad region and called on party leaders and workers to closely monitor the voter list revision process.
Speaking at an online meeting of leaders from the Zaheerabad, Medak, Malkajgiri and Secunderabad parliamentary constituencies, Mr. Goud said the scrutiny of anomalous votes had become crucial and cautioned against any negligence in the exercise. He urged Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to be more vigilant and thoroughly examine every vote.
The virtual meeting was attended by AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, AICC Secretary Sachin Sawant, SIR Coordination Committee Chairman Gampa Venu, Election Commission Committee chairman Rajesh, DCC presidents, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, constituency in-charges and coordinators.
