Congress cadre seek CEC’s resignation

Khairatabad District Congress Committee president Motha Rohit Mudiraj led a protest from the Ambedkar Statue to the Election Commission Office demanding immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.

Mr Rohit said that if any violation of law or procedure is established, strict legal and criminal action must be taken against those responsible. Government Advisor V. Hanumantha Rao, Karwan in-charge Osman Al Hajri, former corporator Raman Goud and several senior Congress leaders and workers participated in the protest.
