Congress appoints Madhu Yaskhi Goud for All India Professional Congress

Former Lok Sabha member from Telangana, Madhu Yaskhi Goud, has been appointed new chairperson of the All India Professional Congress, the party wing that engaged with professionals.
A statement from Congress general secretary (organisation) said he replaces Praveen Chakravarty, who is now a Rajya Sabha member from Tamil Nadu.
The appointment, made by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, was announced in a statement.
“The party appreciates the contributions of outgoing Chairperson, Shri Praveen Chakravarty,” it said.
