NEW DELHI: The Congress on Friday appointed Aradhana Misra Mona as the president of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC), replacing Ajay Rai. The party also named MP Imran Masood as working president of the state unit, with the appointments taking immediate effect.The Congress approved the appointment of Chaudhary Virendra Singh as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in Uttar Pradesh.
