Confirmed: Barcelona squad list to face Real Betis - key duo return
FC Barcelona has announced their squad for the upcoming La Liga match against Real Betis, featuring the return of Frenkie de Jong and Raphinha. Both players have recovered from injuries and are expected to provide a boost ahead of the team's Champions League fixture.
Why it matters
The return of key players is significant for Barcelona's performance in both domestic league standings and upcoming European competitions.
FC Barcelona will face off against Real Betis tomorrow at Estadio de La Cartuja in Matchday 9 of the 2026/27 La Liga season.
Ahead of the trip to Seville, Barça head coach Hansi Flick has announced the squad list of players who will be at his disposal for the game against Manuel Pellegrini's side.
The big news is that captains Raphinha and Frenkie de Jong have recovered from their respective physical issues and been included in the squad.
It marks De Jong's first call-up of the season, given that he had been out of action since the summer, having returned from the World Cup with a knee injury.
