Conference on hip replacement surgery held in Coimbatore

RAC 2026 – ‘The Hip Blueprint’, a conference on hip replacement surgery, was held in Coimbatore on Sunday, bringing together orthopaedic surgeons and arthroplasty specialists from across India.

Organised by Rex Multi Care Hospital at Hotel Residency Towers, the conference featured discussions on recent developments in hip replacement surgery, including advances in implant technology, surgical approaches, computer-assisted planning and patient-specific treatment.

The scientific programme included re-live surgeries, case-based discussions and practical sessions on complex hip replacement cases. Specialists discussed implant selection, surgical approaches and strategies for achieving safe and predictable outcomes.
