Marrickville Golf Club was handed federal grant funding on five previous occasions before Prime Minister Anthony Albanese promised it $6 million at the 2025 federal election.
The grant funding totalling more than $57,000 was awarded after local MPs nominated the club through closed, non-competitive processes.
An inquiry into more than half a billion dollars of invitation-only grant funding is scheduled to begin later this month.
