Led by double Olympic champion Ellesse Andrews, they will contest team pursuit and team sprint qualifying, while para cyclists Emma Foy and Nicole Murray race their individual events.
Andrews will anchor the NZ women's sprint team that took gold at Birmingham four years ago, and will return later in the programme to defend her individual sprint and keirin crowns.
Also tonight, Max Atwell begins the gruelling decathlon competition at the track.
Friday morning, our athletes will contend for medals at the cycling, athletics - Tom Walsh in the shot put, Anna Grimaldi in the 100m - and weightlifting - David Liti in the +110kg division.
