Commercial LPG prices hiked by ₹10 per cylinder

Reversing course after two months of decline, prices of the commercial variant of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder were hiked by approximately ₹10 for every cylinder across the country on Tuesday (September 1, 2026) while that of the domestic variant remained unchanged.
The latest hike brings the price of the 19-kg cylinder in Delhi to ₹2,747.5 per cylinder.
Prices spurred by a similar ₹9.5 per cylinder to ₹2,701 per cylinder in Mumbai.
Among the metros, Kolkata observed a steeper hike. Prices of the commercial cylinder rose by ₹12 to ₹2,884 per cylinder.
In Chennai, prices rose by ₹10.5 for every cylinder to ₹2,916.5 per cylinder.
