Comedy duo Flight of the Conchords sell out in 3 minutes

More shows have been added to the Flight of the Conchords’ New Zealand tour after four of the original sets sold out in minutes on Friday.

Wellington’s Michael Fowler Centre will host two additional shows – November 15 and 16 – and the duo will play Auckland’s Spark Arena on November 21.

Tickets for the new shows will go on sale September 25.

Earlier this month, the duo announced they would embark on their first nationwide tour in 14 years, travelling to Auckland for two shows, another two in Wellington and one in Christchurch.

The tickets went on sale at 1pm on Friday. The Auckland and Wellington dates sold out minutes later while just a handful of seats remained for the Christchurch show.
