Madurai District Collector Nishant Krishna, here on Tuesday visited and inspected private Information Technology companies operating within the ELCOT IT Parks located near Vadapalanji and Pandikovil.
During this inspection, he inquired with the company managements about the operations of various private IT companies functioning within the ELCOT premises, the number of employees working there, their nature of work, the work environment, and current job opportunities available in the companies.
Further, he also inquired about details, including the educational qualifications, experience, work responsibilities, and monthly salaries provided to the employees working in the companies.
In particular, he inquired in detail about the procedure for selecting new employees, required educational qualifications, skill tests, interviews, and recruitment processes.
Subsequently, the District Collector inquired about the needs of the employees working in the ELCOT IT parks and the basic amenities required for the companies’ operations.
