Collector, along with private institute, creates free NEET coaching centre for govt. school students
District Collector Anand Mohan, in partnership with Spectra NEET Coaching Centre, has launched 'Collector Super 30', a free NEET coaching program for government school students. The initiative aims to provide rigorous training to up to 50 disadvantaged students, helping them pursue medical education without financial burden.

This program addresses educational inequality by providing free, high-quality coaching to underprivileged students, potentially enabling them to achieve their dreams of becoming doctors and breaking cycles of poverty. It also tackles student dropout issues by facilitating readmission and continued education.
The district administration, in association with Spectra NEET Coaching Centre, has started a training programme for Plus One and Plus Two students from government schools aspiring to go to medical college.
At the inauguration of the initiative, ‘Collector Super 30’, here on Saturday, Collector Anand Mohan said students from affluent families could afford to pay the hefty fee for NEET coaching, while government school students, who were mostly from poor families, could not.
Hence, the centre had been established to train up to 50 students from government schools, who would undergo two-year free and meticulously prepared rigorous coaching module over the weekend.
“We have floated the venture to help the disadvantaged children conquer their dream of donning the white coat,” said Mr. Anand Mohan.
He planned to meet the expenditure with the help of corporate social responsibility funds of firms in the district and generous contributions of volunteers.
