Collaros out, Brown listed as Blue Bombers starter for Eastern Semi-Final

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be without quarterback Zach Collaros for the Eastern Semi-Final against the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday. Dru Brown was listed as the team’s starter on their depth chart Friday after Collaros was previously listed as questionable with injured ribs. Collaros was injured during last Friday’s must-win victory over the BC Lions that put the Bombers in the playoffs. Late in the third quarter of the game, Collaros took a big hit from Lions lineman Nathan Cherry. After remaining down on the field for several minutes, Collaros would exit the game, with Brown seeing out the 34-10 victory with two touchdown passes. Brown completed all 11 of his pass attempts for 185 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions, securing the Bombers’ victory in the must-win game.
