Coimbatore Institute of Technology launches centre for global academic engagement

The Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) has launched the International Centre for Global Engagement to facilitate international academic partnerships, student and faculty mobility, joint research and academic exchange.

The centre, inaugurated at the CIT Auditorium on Thursday (September 24), will provide a platform for partnerships and knowledge exchange with universities, institutions and organisations abroad. It will also support international academic programmes, research projects and the exchange of academic expertise and practices.

Amb. Madhusudhanan Sridharan, Ambassador (Retd.), Indian Foreign Service, Government of India; Dr. Hudyjaya Siswoyo Jo of Swinburne University of Technology, Malaysia; Dr. Khoo Li Jing of the University of Wollongong; and Dr. Rizki Ardianto Priamadhi of Telkom University, Bandung, Indonesia, attended the inauguration.
