TABP Snacks and Beverages Private Limited in Coimbatore that sells bottled juices, drinking water, and carbonated drinks is looking at exports to south east and west Asian countries.

It shipped a trial consignment of 90,000 bottles of its flagship brand Plunge to Mauritius and is looking at expanding in Sharjah through a partner for the same brand.

The market for non-alcoholic drinks, excluding tea and coffee, in India is worth totally ₹1 lakh crore, Prabhu Gandhikumar, founder of TABP, told The Hindu recently.

Almost 20% of the company’s topline is from carbonated drinks, about 60% from juices, and 10% to 12% from packaged drinking water.

TABP launched packaged drinking water last year and is looking at 10 times growth by next June. “We want to take the revenue from this segment to 20% by end of next fiscal,” he said.
