Coimbatore District Collector interacts with corporation school students at ‘Coffee with Collector’ programme

Coimbatore District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar on Saturday (July 18) interacted with students from Corporation schools as part of the ‘Coffee with Collector’ initiative, encouraging them to pursue higher education, develop skills and make informed career choices.
The interactive session, held at the Collectorate, brought together 50 students from 10 Corporation higher secondary schools across the city. Assistant Collector (Trainee) Tushar Singh, Corporation Educational Officer Gunasekaran, district coordinators, headteachers and teachers participated in the programme.
During the interaction, the Collector sought feedback from students on various aspects of school education, including academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. He also discussed opportunities for higher education, career prospects in different fields, and the industrial landscape of Coimbatore, highlighting the district’s major industries and manufacturing sector.
