Why it matters

Coimbatore Corporation intensified dengue prevention measures at cinema theatres, hotels, marriage halls, community halls, parks and other places where people gather in large numbers.
Joint cleanliness and dengue prevention drives were conducted on Saturday across all five zones and 100 wards, following instructions from Corporation Commissioner Katta Ravi Teja.
