Coffee omakase, specialty brews, and more at Bengaluru’s newest cafe, Kura

Kura, a new cafe in Bengaluru, offers a unique coffee experience featuring Japanese brew towers and an omakase-style tasting menu. The establishment aims to cater to both coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors with a focus on non-alcoholic, curated experiences.
Why it matters
It reflects the evolving cafe culture in urban India, moving toward specialized, experience-driven hospitality.
A Japanese brew tower catches my eye as I walk into Kura, the newest cafe in Bengaluru’s already busy Indiranagar. The glass and copper structure stands at the cafe’s omakase brew bar, so you know they take their coffee seriously here. Started by cousins Kiran Vijayakumar and Prajwal Venugopal, Kura is designed for both coffee connoisseurs and newbies, with a robust food menu to back it up.
