District Collector Anand Mohan inaugurated the Deepavali special discount sale of Co-optex at its Gandhimathi Showroom in Tirunelveli Junction on Friday night.

Mr. Anand Mohan said the Tirunelveli Region of Co-optex, which transacted business through its 13 showrooms to the tune of ₹9 crore during Deepavali discount sale last year, had been set a target of ₹11 crore this year and the sales target for the three showrooms in Tirunelveli district was ₹4 crore.

“Hence, the public should overwhelmingly support Co-optex, which backs the weavers supplying quality products to the customers,” said Mr. Anand Mohan, who purchased materials worth ₹2,345.
