CMYKhub buys swissQprint Impala 5 from Pozitive

Australian printing company CMYKhub has purchased a new swissQprint Impala 5 for its Brisbane facility. The upgrade replaces a decade-old machine to increase production speed and capacity for trade customers.
Why it matters
This investment highlights ongoing capital expenditure in the wide-format printing industry to maintain competitive turnaround times and operational efficiency.
CMYKhub has purchased a new swissQprint Impala 5 at Visual Impact 2026 in Sydney, continuing its investment in wide format production capacity across its national manufacturing network.
Purchased through Pozitive sign & graphic supplies, the new Impala 5 will be installed at CMYKhub’s Brisbane site, replacing an Impala 2 that has been at the heart of its rigid and roll-to-roll wide format production for almost a decade.
For CMYKhub Brisbane hub manager Alex Jell, the decision to reinvest in swissQprint came from nearly 10 years of experience with the platform.
Jell said, “The Impala 2 has been an absolute workhorse for us. It has produced all of our rigid wide format work along with banners and roll work, and has been an incredibly reliable machine.
