The State government has decided to invite the Chief Ministers of all the southern States for this year’s Mysuru Dasara.

A decision to this effect was taken at a high-level meeting convened by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar in Bengaluru on Thursday to review the preparations for Dasara. The meeting decided to invite all the noted cultural troupes of the State to perform at Dasara.

The Chief Minister said he would discuss with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh about organising an aero show. He would also request Mr. Singh and the authorities concerned to send teams representing the Defence services to participate in the parade and to send a tableau depicting their services.
