As the news about cracks in a four-storeyed building in Gopanapally that began to tilt circulated online on Friday evening, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation officials inspected the building in question and issued an alert about the threat to life due to it.

“Following the inspection, the building was found to be in an unsafe condition. As an immediate safety measure, the occupants have been vacated and the area around the building has been restricted to prevent any risk to residents and the public,” according to a statement issued by the civic body.

The building in NTR Colony, Gopanpally, is a four-storied structure that has been allegedly build on a 50-square yard plot without any setbacks.
