CM Vijay inaugurates projects completed in the Nilgiris

Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Tuesday inaugurated projects completed at a cost of ₹90.91 crore in the Nilgiris through a video-conference call.
The projects, undertaken by the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, included drinking water improvement under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme in Kotagiri Municipality and 164 new apartments in Naduhatty as well as 152 apartments in Cherangode built by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board. The houses were built at a cost of ₹22.16 crore and ₹18.92 crore respectively, the district administration said.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a new centre of excellence building at the Government Polytechnic College in Udhagamandalam, which was built at a cost of ₹7.14 crore.
