Leader of the Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin on Monday (September 7, 2026) said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay had no locus standi to advise others to refrain from making “double and triple meaning comments” against women, as the quality of the films he had acted in, the scenes in them and the songs were at odds with what he was preaching.

“If we talk about them, he will not be able to bear it. What is the position of his friends Vishnu Reddy, Sujai Reddy and Anil Reddy? Why have you handed over the mines and responsibilities to them?
