Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy called on US Ambassador Sergio Gor in New Delhi on Wednesday. Mr. Reddy is said to have discussed multiple subjects, including higher education, student safety and visas. Higher education and collaboration between US universities and those in Telangana were high on his agenda. Mr. Gor is said to have responded positively to the Chief Minister’s requests.
Mr. Reddy also brought to Mr. Gor’s attention the issues faced by professionals from Telangana working in various sectors in America. The meeting focussed on the safety and welfare of students from Telangana studying in the U.S.
The Chief Minister explained about the investment prospects for U.S. companies in Telangana. The State government was ready to partner with U.S. companies in IT, Artificial Intelligence, Life Sciences, pharmaceuticals, startups, research and latest technology.
