CM seeks simplification of H-1B visa processing, renewal and stamping procedures

The Chief Minister made the request when he called on the U.S. ambassador Sergio Gor in New Delhi on Wednesday. Mr. Revanth Reddy favoured collaboration between the US universities and those in Telangana. Mr. Gor responded positively to the Chief Minister's requests.
Mr. Revanth Reddy sought an increase in the number of visas for students from Telangana traveling to the U.S. for higher education as also the assistance of the U.S. authorities in ensuring timely visa appointments. He wanted an increase in visa interview slots and expeditious processing of visa applications.
