CM’s US visit permission denial: BJP, BRS leaders speaking sans complete information, says Chamala

Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy has criticized the BJP and BRS for questioning Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's foreign travel plans. He alleged that the opposition is spreading false propaganda and obstructing key infrastructure projects in Telangana.
Why it matters
The dispute highlights ongoing political tensions in Telangana regarding state development projects and federal-state relations.
Congress MP and TPCC Media Committee chairman Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy lashed out at the BJP and BRS for their criticism of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s recent foreign visit, alleging that leaders of both parties were speaking without having complete information about the issue.
Addressing the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, he said the Centre had granted permission for Mr. Revanth Reddy’s visit to the United Kingdom but denied permission for his proposed visit to the United States. “This has never happened before,” he said.
Taking a dig at Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, he said the latter was speaking as though he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. He questioned why semiconductor projects that were expected to come to Telangana had allegedly been shifted to Gujarat.
