CM promises to make NIT-C partner in ‘Puthuyuga Keralam’ project

Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan has said that the National Institute of Technology-Calicut (NIT-C) will be a partner in the State government’s attempts to build a ‘Puthuyuga Keralam’ (New Age Keralam), which will be knowledge-based and technologically self-reliant.
He was on the NIT-C campus at Chathamangalam near here on Tuesday (August 1, 2026) to deliver a lecture in memory of M.V. Kesava Rao, the first director of the institute, and also to mark its the 66 th Foundation Day.
