The Government would soon unveil a programme based on artificial intelligence that will simplify the system and ensure accelerated growth in the State economy. He wanted officials concerned to take steps to ensure that businesses are not adversely affected with the new system.
The Chief Minister held discussions with noted economist and former chief economic advisor Arvind Subramanian on the planned strategy to enhance revenues in view of the rapid growth in the State economy here on Friday.
The meeting focussed on the reforms that should be ushered in the Commercial Taxes department, Excise and GST in particular. Mr. Subramanian explained about the technologies that help in augmenting revenues and simultaneously promote Ease of Doing Business (EoDB).
