With the government focused on resolving long pending land issues, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced a 12-point action plan in this direction.

The government will soon announce a scheme for regularisation of surplus lands under the Urban Land Ceiling Act. The scheme will be applicable for the pending applications as well as the new ones that were likely to be submitted in due course. “Regularisation and registration of these lands will be taken up parallelly,” he said.

The government would also announce a new scheme within a week for regularising layouts in different localities. The government would put in place a comprehensive mechanism to regularise pending applications of layouts approved by competent authorities like the HMGA, GHMC or DTCP.
