Douglas McAllister, who has spoken out against assisted dying legislation in the past, will return to Westminster on Friday, September 11, to vote against the bill.
It recently failed to pass through the House of Lords, despite being approved by the Commons.
The most recent version was introduced by Kim Leadbeater MP , passing with a narrow majority of 314 votes to 291.
