Clifford disappointed over Fossa manager's departure

GAA star Paudie Clifford has expressed disappointment following the sudden resignation of Fossa manager Jerome Stack. The departure comes just weeks before the club's upcoming Munster intermediate football campaign.
Why it matters
The sudden loss of a successful manager creates significant instability for a club preparing for a high-stakes regional championship.
Paudie Clifford says it was "disappointing" that Fossa manager Jerome Stack departed suddenly as the club prepare for a Munster intermediate football campaign.
Stack, who brought the club to successive Kerry intermediate finals, with last month’s victory over Kilcummin securing senior status for the club just outside Killarney for the first time in its history.
However, five weeks out from a Munster semi-final against Tipperary or Limerick opposition, Fossa are on the hunt for a new manager.
It has been reported that Stack felt aggrieved over the involvement of seven Fossa players - including Paudie and his brother David - in training for divisional side East Kerry rather than the club.
East Kerry exited the championship last weekend at the quarter-final stage.
