Cleanliness fortnight begins in Madurai Railway division
Railway officials in the Madurai Division launched a cleanliness drive as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative. The campaign involved cleaning stations, tracks, and depots with the help of various stakeholders and students.

As part of Swachhata Hi Seva and Cleanliness Fortnight, railway officials conducted a cleaning drive at various railway stations, colonies, coaching depots, the railway hospital and other railway establishments across Madurai Division on Thursday.
Divisional Railway Manager Om Prakash Meena participated in the cleaning drive at Vaigai Club at Madurai Railway Colony along with railway officers and staff.
The activities included cleaning of platforms, railway tracks, circulating areas, railway colonies, coaching depot pit lines and hospital premises.
