Clalit, Check Point working on implement AI in healthcare, secure medical data

Some 5 million Israelis will have their healthcare data secured using artificial intelligence models thanks to a partnership announced on Monday between Clalit and the cybersecurity giant Check Point, the companies announced in a joint statement.The objective of the partnership will be to accelerate Clalit's use of AI in key sectors while also securing Clalit's medical data, digital assets, and critical infrastructure, the companies said.According to Clalit, this partnership with Check Point will allow "embedding AI into everyday workflows to improve processes, shorten response times, and leverage diagnostic and research tools powered by AI agents," while the cybersecurity firm offers "real-time visibility and control over all AI usage and AI agents across the organization."Key figures in Clalit, Check Point explain partnership"Artificial intelligence opens up possibilities for us that did not exist until today to improve medicine, diagnosis, and patient service," said Prof. Eytan Wirtheim, CEO of Clalit Health Services.
