NEW DELHI: People found to be directly involved in the violence during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led protests could face cancellation of their passports, news agency PTI reported citing Delhi Police sources on Thursday.They said investigators are using CCTV footage, video recordings and other technical evidence to identify those who were directly involved in rioting and violent incidents during the protest.The sources added that authorities could initiate proceedings to cancel the passports of individuals found to have actively participated in the violence, in line with the relevant legal provisions. The latest police action follows violence that broke out near Jantar Mantar last night during protests over the NEET paper leak issue.
