JAIPUR: A dilapidated govt primary school in Rampura Kanwarpura village near Jaipur, where a Cockroach Janta Party team was attacked on Aug 21 during an inspection under its nationwide ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign, was demolished Wednesday to make way for a new building.The school, which has 26 students enrolled up to class 5, had been running from a buffalo shed after its old building was declared unsafe and shut about a year ago. Classes have now been shifted to a local resident’s house until the new structure is built.The replacement building will be funded through Rs 18 lakh from the MLA Local Area Development Fund and is proposed to have two rooms and a washroom.
