Smt. Ramkuwar Devi Fomra Vivekananda Vidyalaya, popularly known as SRDF Vivekananda Vidyalaya, caters to more than 3,000 students at four locations in and around Gajalakshmi Nagar.
The First Main Road in Gajalakshmi Nagar, under Ward 36 of the Tambaram Corporation, which leads to the rear entrance of the main school building, is riddled with potholes, crater-like pits and uneven patches. Students who cycle to school find it difficult to negotiate the stretch.
